That the Parliament congratulates Angela Thomson, Senior Charge Nurse at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, on being awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) in His Majesty The King’s Birthday Honours 2024 for services to the NHS in Scotland; notes that Angela has served as an NHS nurse for 38 years and specialises in diabetes, haematology and general medicine; recognises that, in 2023, she was named as a finalist in the Scottish Health Awards in recognition of her strong leadership skills, and wishes her all the best for the future.
