Lisa Crombie Receives £100,000 Scottish Edge Award

That the Parliament congratulates Lisa Crombie, of East Kilbride, who received a Scottish EDGE Award of £100,000 to develop her business; understands that the business venture, Confidence Plus Ltd, will be based in East Kilbride and that the organisation’s purpose is to make ostomates' lives better by providing new and innovative products to assist them; further understands that the innovative product Confiplus has been created to contain leaks from stoma bags and allow the wearer time to get to a toilet without soiling their clothing or bedding; notes that Scottish Edge is a competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland’s up-and-coming, innovative, high-growth potential entrepreneurial talent; congratulates the organisation on winning the Scottish Edge award, and wishes it all the very best for the future.
