Commending the Work of the Indian Consul General Bijay Selvaraj

That the Parliament acknowledges what it sees as the dedication of the outgoing Consul General of India, Bijay Selvaraj, to strengthening Indo-Scottish relations; understands that he has a new role as Deputy Chief of Mission in Jakarta; recognises his work to promote investment into Scotland from India; acknowledges what it sees as the importance of the Indo-Scottish trade to the Scottish economy; applauds the efforts of the consulate in taking consular services across Scotland and ensuring that the Indian diaspora in Scotland is well served; welcomes the incoming Consul General to their new role, and wishes them well in further strengthening relations between Scotland and India.
