Larbert High School’s Fashionable Fundraiser

That the Parliament congratulates the pupils at Larbert High School on their involvement in the Off the Rails event on 31 May 2024 to raise awareness of, and funds for, Strathcarron Hospice; understands that the event involved music, fashion, preloved second-hand shopping, great food and hospitality; recognises that pupils were involved in the event in a number of ways, upcycling second-hand clothes, preparing and serving delicious food and performing all their own music and poems; understands that Strathcarron Hospice has to raise £16,637 each day in order to provide specialist end-of-life care and services to individuals and families across the local area; congratulates those involved on raising over £6,400 towards this cost for the Fankerton-based hospice; further congratulates the pupils at Larbert High School on the success of their fundraiser, and thanks all of those involved for the hard work and effort that they put in to organising the Strathcarron Hospice event.
