Remarkable Dedication as Margaret Allan Completes 50 Years in the Same Job

That the Parliament congratulates Margaret Allan on having successfully completed a major career milestone with Dumfries and Galloway Council; recognises that she has been helping pupils, staff and parents at Douglas Ewart High School in Newton Stewart for a remarkable 50 years; understands that this achievement has been carried out with great dedication, humility and always a welcoming smile; believes that half a century of commitment in one job is quite a rare achievement these days, and that it requires necessary effort and skills; wishes Margaret continued success in the coming years, and thanks her for her dedication to helping the local community.
