Clydebank Lollipop Lady Retires After 40 Years' Service

That the Parliament commends Helen Barr, who is retiring from her post as lollipop lady on 26 June 2024 after 40 years of serving the community; understands that Helen is a lollipop lady on Kilbowie Road, Clydebank, helping children from St Eunan's Primary School, Kilbowie Primary School, Clydebank High School and St Peter the Apostle High School to cross the road; welcomes Helen’s years of dedication to keeping Clydebank children safe while walking to school; notes that she has received significant praise from the local community for her work; wishes Helen a very restful and enjoyable retirement, and thanks her for her tremendous service to the community.
