Celebrates the Success of Boxing Scotland’s, Fife Region Boxers on Qualifying for the GB Junior and Youth Three Nations Championships

That the Parliament celebrates the success of Boxing Scotland’s Nadia Przekwas, Linktown, and also of Niamh Mitchell, Bowhill Miners, both from the Fife Region on qualifying for the GB Junior and Youth Three Nations Championships taking place in June 2024; recognises and commends the hard work and dedication undertaken by both boxers and believes that 46kg Nadia, who represents Kirkcaldy’s Linktown Club, has qualified in the junior female category, and that 54kg Niamh, who represents Bowhill Miners Club, has qualified in the youth female category; understands that 32 Boxers in total from 24 different Scottish clubs make up the squad all aiming to become British champion in Cardiff; acknowledges Boxing Scotland’s success at the GB Junior and Youth Championships event in England in 2022, winning 10 Gold medals equalled in 2023 in Scotland; notes that England will host the GB Schools Championships in Nottingham, while Scotland will host the GB Elite Championships later on in the month, and extends its very best wishes and good luck to Nadia and Niamh in the competition, along with all the other participants and for continued success in the future.
