That the Parliament congratulates Grange Primary School, whose P6 team qualified for the Euroquiz National Final 2024; understands that this annual competition is open to teams of four P6 pupils who are quizzed on their knowledge of history, languages, geography, culture and European affairs, with the aim of building pupils’ confidence, enthusiasm for learning, communication skills and ability to work in teams; acknowledges the work of the Scottish European Educational Trust (SEET) in organising the competition, which will include 30 schools from across Scotland in the 2024 final; recognises that SEET is an independent, non-political charity committed to promoting international education, skills development and language learning amongst children and young people in Scotland; commends the Grange Primary team on reaching this stage, and wishes it well in the final, and hopes that the Grange Primary team, and all the participants, enjoy the event and go on to make use of the increased knowledge of the culture, geography, history and languages of Europe that participation will have brought them.
