That the Parliament congratulates Lynn McFarlane and the North Fest Fun Day volunteers on their successful fundraising and planning of the first North Motherwell Fun Day in over 34 years; understands that the event will take place on 13 July 2024 at Logan's Park, Motherwell, and that Lynn has raised over £7,000 in the short space of eight weeks to ensure that the event is inclusive to all in the community; believes that the family day out will have lots to see and do, with various stalls, bands and performances for all ages; recognises what it sees as the generosity of the local community and businesses that helped to ensure that the event goes ahead; thanks all volunteers for their hard work, dedication and meticulous planning over the past few weeks to organise this community event, and wishes everyone a safe and happy fun day out.
