The Old Govan Fun Fair

That the Parliament congratulates The Old Govan Fair, an annual celebration of all things Govan and its people, on returning for 2024 on 7 June; understands that it is the 268th anniversary of the fair; congratulates Jessica Faye, from Riverside Primary, on being named as Govan Fair Queen; passes on its best wishes to the various community groups participating in this year’s procession; commends the dedication of all the organisers and volunteers, and thanks them for making this event an annual highlight for the local Govan community.
