That the Parliament congratulates the winners of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s annual Celebrating Success Staff Awards, which took place on 30 May 2024; understands that the awards recognise the hard work and dedication of staff and volunteers; notes that awards were presented in four categories, namely Local Staff Awards, Excellence Awards, the Chair’s Award of Excellence and the William Cullen Prizes for Innovation and Education; further understands that amongst the Excellence winners were a team at Leverndale Hospital for its walking initiative, Meander for Mental Health, a group of Gartnavel Royal volunteers who established a new hospital hub café, the team at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital’s transoral robotic service, which is an innovative procedure to treat throat cancer, and the Renfrewshire Care Home Nursing Support Team, which has been working to prevent unnecessary admissions to hospital from care homes; considers that these are just some examples of the staff and volunteers who go above and beyond to care for patients on a regular basis, and commends all of the winners and nominees for their contribution to Scotland's health and social care service.
