Congratulating Longhope Lifeboat Museum on Securing over £220,000 to Preserve Unique Heritage

That the Parliament congratulates the Longhope Lifeboat Museum on securing over £220,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to support vital repairs, restoration, and development; notes that this funding will enable the restoration of the historic lifeboat house and the refit of the vintage lifeboat; recognises what it sees as the museum's crucial role in preserving Orkney’s maritime heritage, and commends the dedication of the Longhope Lifeboat Museum Trust and its volunteers in safeguarding this unique and important heritage for future generations.
