  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 11 June 2024
  • Motion reference: S6M-13421

That the Parliament commends John Greensmyth, from Aboyne, for the challenge he is currently undertaking, riding his recumbent bike from Land's End to John o’Groats; notes that John is raising awareness and funds for Friends of ANCHOR and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia Support, and the latter's 20th anniversary campaign, Challenge 20; recognises that John has passed the halfway point on his challenge, travelling solo and carrying all he needs on his bike; understands that John is a member of the Aboyne and Upper Deeside Rotary Club and that he has been supported by friendly Rotarians, who have provided him with a bed for the night along the way, and wishes John all the very best for the remainder of his challenge.
