Cupar Hearts AFC Wins Scottish Amateur Cup

That the Parliament congratulates Cupar Hearts AFC on becoming the first Fife football club to win the Scottish Amateur Cup for two years in a row; understands that the club beat Glasgow team, Garrowhill Thistle, in the final at Hampden Park, with three goals to one; further understands that the match was watched by more than a thousand fans who were in attendance, including many who had travelled from North East Fife to support Cupar Hearts; believes that Cupar Hearts’ victory represents a great achievement, particularly after becoming the first Fife team to win the competition in over thirty years in 2023; commends the effort and dedication of the players and other members of the club, whose work has contributed to its victory; celebrates what it sees as the role of sports teams, such as Cupar Hearts, in their local communities, and wishes Cupar Hearts well in future competitions, including defending its title in 2025.
