That the Parliament commends the University of Edinburgh for expanding its Venture Builder Incubator Programme to support more start-up businesses; understands that the incubator programme helps turn research and innovations in robotics and artificial intelligence into commercially viable start-ups; further understands that the funding will support up to 26 new businesses; notes that funding is matched by Barclays Eagle Labs, and understands that the latest group of companies will have the opportunity to receive a share of £100,000 and mentoring from industry experts, as well as access to the Bayes Centre’s facilities in central Edinburgh.
