That the Parliament acknowledges that Carers Week will take place from 5 to 11 June 2023; understands that this year's theme is “Recognising and supporting carers in the community”; notes what it sees as the importance of recognising the work of carers; understands that, in the UK, around 6.5 million people are carers; believes that carers make fundamental contributions to the lives of individuals and communities; further believes that governments must do all that they can to support carers and ensure that their wellbeing is a priority; thanks carers for all that they do, and wishes them a very happy Carers Week.
