As an amendment to motion S6M-02761 in the name of Angela Constance (Tackling Drug Related Deaths Through the First Year of the National Mission), insert at end “; believes that there is an acute need to increase capacity in stabilisation services so that those affected can benefit from increased rehabilitation provisions, and that all support services offered to users should recognise family circumstances and offer support to dependent children and vulnerable family members in their delivery; recognises that drug use is often caused by unresolved trauma in childhood, and reasserts the commitment of the Parliament to identify those people who have suffered adverse childhood experiences and get help to them to allow them to heal.”
