Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government what consultation was carried out with (a) residents, (b) caregivers, (c) workers and (d) care home operators, prior to it publishing COVID-19 guidance on the extended use of face masks and coverings in hospitals, primary care, wider community care and adult care homes on 7 June 2021, and whether it will revoke the guidance on care home residents wearing face masks in communal areas.
