Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)

To ask the Scottish Government what discussions it has had with each NHS board regarding whether they use the Autism Training Framework for staff training and development.

The Scottish Government is committed to improving the lives of autistic people in Scotland. We are committed to implementing the priorities as laid out in the refreshed Scottish Strategy for Autism Outcomes and Priorities 2018-2021.

We commission NHS Education Scotland to engage with NHS Boards on the Autism Training Framework. They continue to promote this through a number of mechanisms. This includes the delivery of roadshows promoting autism resources, face to face training and other training materials.
