To ask the Scottish Government, further to the priority set out in the 2020 document, Recovery and Redesign: An Action Plan for Cancer Services, to "work with the Scottish Hepatobiliary Network and support clinical consensus on redesign of pancreatic...cancer pathways", whether it has completed this work, and, if so, what actions resulted from this.
Answer
The Pancreato-Hepatocellular Cancer Pathway Improvement Project (PHCC PIP) was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and did not commence until last year. The pilot is now in its second year.
More information on the project, including how to make specific enquiries, can be found at the following webpage: Pancreato-Hepatocellular Cancer Pathway Improvement Project (PHCC PIP) – SCAN Scotland .

To ask the Scottish Government what plans it has to review the 2018 GP contract.
Answer
The Scottish Government continues to implement the 2018 GP Contract.
Five years on from the joint agreement between Scottish Government and the British Medical Association (BMA) on the 2018 GP contract, Health and Social Care Partnerships have made significant progress in the implementation of Primary Care Improvement Plans (PCIPs).
As of March 2022, 3,220 WTE multi-disciplinary team (MDT) members had been recruited to work in and with GP practices and the community, reducing practice workload and ensuring more patients see the right healthcare professional at the right time. An update on progress on MDT recruitment throughout 2022-23 will be published on 28 June 2023.

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will review the sensitivity of the bowel cancer testing programme to enable an increase in sensitivity from a level of 80 to 20.
Answer
The Scottish Government, along with the other UK nations, takes advice on whether or not to introduce any new screening programmes from the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC), an independent expert advisory group.
Any changes to the sensitivity threshold the Scottish Bowel Screening Programme (SBSP) currently uses would come from a review of the evidence-base and subsequent recommendations from the UK NSC. These recommendations would also be considered by the Scottish Screening Committee.
