To ask the Scottish Government how independence would improve employment opportunities for young people receiving the national minimum wage.
Answer
I believe that the full powers of independence would allow us create more opportunities by aligning the delivery of employability and skills provision in Scotland. It would also allow us to implement measures such as the European Youth Guarantee that will ensure all young people receive a good quality offer of employment, education, training or apprenticeship.
