Questions and answers

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will give a breakdown by local authority, expressed also as a ratio of the number of private water supplies in each area, of the #850,000 for the production of a comprehensive education and support package to professionals and users in respect of the potential risks of private water supplies, as referred to in the report by the Drinking Water Quality Regulator for Scotland to the Ad Hoc Group of Ministers on Health and Public Water Supply.
