How can the patient safety commissioner embed themselves in the current system and still stay truly independent?

Good morning. My question is aimed at Bill Wright, considering his answer on the independence of the commissioner. Do you think that the bill in its current form will allow the commissioner to be independent?

Thank you for that. Do you agree that there is a risk that a Scottish patient safety commissioner who was not sponsored by a relevant Scottish Government department would be easily overlooked?

In light of evidence as at December 2022, only one of the 32 common frameworks has been finalised. What risks are there to Scottish food supplies, safety and production if the common frameworks in the remit of the FSS are not finalised?
