Kate Forbes’s point relates to something that concerned me in the course of our pre-legislative scrutiny work. An awful lot of weight seems to have been put on the bill to do an awful lot of stuff, but other bills that are going through Parliament will cross over with it. I presume that the bill team will work in conjunction with those otherSF bills’ teams to ensure that the bill does what it is setting out to do, which is to maintain primary food production in this country.
