Decision on Taking Business in Private

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the 36th meeting in 2022 of the Social Justice and Social Security Committee. Our first item of business is a decision on whether to take items 4 and 5 in private. Do we agree to take those items in private?

Members indicated agreement.

On a point of order, convener. Members of the committee received a letter addressed to you from Advice Talks Ltd, which raises interesting issues. How will the committee take it forward?

Yes, we all received that correspondence. In the private session, I intend to allow committee members to discuss the letter and our approach to the issue and to agree next steps, such as formal consideration and how the committee will take it forward. We can certainly discuss that.
