1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take item 3 in private.

The Committee noted that it had agreed by correspondence to re-accord recognition to the Cross-Party Group on Taiwan following further examination of its records regarding that Group’s compliance with the Code of Conduct.

Dr Tom Caygill, Senior Lecturer in Politics, Nottingham Trent University;

Ken Hughes, Former Assistant Chief Executive, Scottish Parliament;

Professor Cristina Leston Bandeira, Professor of Politics, University of Leeds.
