The Committee considered the evidence heard under item 2.
The Committee considered its work programme. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government about its declared housing emergency. The Committee also agreed to write to the UK Government on the impact of its streamlined asylum processing. In addition, the Committee agreed to write to Mears about their processes once an asylum seekers' claim is fully determined.
The Committee considered a draft annual report for the parliamentary year from 13 May 2023 to 12 May 2024. Various changes were agreed to, and the report was agreed for publication.
The Committee considered a draft report on the Disability Assistance for Older People (Scotland) Regulations 2024. The report was agreed for publication.
