Every year the Scottish Government plans how it will spend money by creating a budget. The Social Justice and Social Security are responsible for examining the impact of the budget on social justice and social security issues in Scotland.

Over the course of 2021 and 2022, the Committee is looking at how the Scottish Government has spent and what outcomes have been achieved. We are also considering where it needs to be spent in the future.
