The Committee took evidence on the Code of Practice for the Welfare of Pigs (Revocation) (Scotland) Notice 2023 from—
Gillian Martin, Minister for Energy and the Environment, Grant McLarty, Solicitor and Andrew Voas, Veterinary Head of Animal Welfare, Scottish Government.
2. Scottish Government documents for approval:
Gillian Martin, Minister for Energy and the Environment moved—S6M-11748—That the Rural Affairs and Islands Committee recommends that the Code of Practice for the Welfare of Pigs (Revocation) (Scotland) Notice 2023 be approved.
