1. Decision on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take item 4 in private.
2. Subordinate legislation:
The Committee considered the following negative instruments—
Tuberculosis (Scotland) Order 2023
Bee Diseases and Pests Control (Scotland) (Amendment) Order 2023
The Committee agreed to defer consideration of these instruments to a future meeting.
3. Salmon farming in Scotland:
The Committee took evidence from—
Mairi Gougeon, Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Land Reform and Islands, supported by Jill Barber, Head of Aquaculture Development and Malcolm Pentland, Deputy Director, Lead for Marine Economy and Communities, Scottish Government.
Edward Mountain declared an interest as a co-owner of a wild salmon fishery in Moray.

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier in the meeting.
