1. Subordinate legislation:
The Committee considered the following negative instruments—
Official Controls and Import Conditions (Transitional Periods) (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2022
Red Rocks and Longay Marine Conservation Order 2022
Food and Feed (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Scotland) Regulations 2022
The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instruments.
2. UK subordinate legislation:
The Committee considered a proposal by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating using the powers under the European Union Withdrawal Act in relation to the following UK statutory instrument—
The Approved Country Lists (Animals and Animal Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2023.
The Committee agreed that the provisions set out in the notification should be included in the UK SI.
