1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take agenda items 3, 4 and 5 in private.

2. Investing in Scotland's infrastructure:

The Committee took evidence from—

Stephen Boyle, Auditor General for Scotland;

Dharshi Santhakumaran, Senior Manager and Ashleigh Madjitey, Audit Manager, Audit Scotland.

3. Investing in Scotland's infrastructure (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard at agenda item 2 and took further evidence from—

Stephen Boyle, Auditor General for Scotland;

Dharshi Santhakumaran, Senior Manager and Ashleigh Madjitey, Audit Manager, Audit Scotland.

4. Investing in Scotland's infrastructure (In Private):

The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government on issues raised during the meeting. It also agreed to invite the Scottish Government to give oral evidence at a future meeting.

5. Work programme (In Private):

The Committee considered its work programme and noted correspondence from the Chief Executive of NHS Scotland and Director-General for Health and Social Care and agreed to close its scrutiny of NHS in Scotland 2022. 

The Committee also noted the Scottish Government's annual report on the use of settlement agreements, April 2022 - March 2023.
