On 31 August 2021, The Interim Controller of Audit and Director of Performance Audit and Best Value published a blog Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. 

The blog said:

"The pandemic and the resulting restrictions have made it more important than ever that children and young people can access the support they need."

Decision: The Committee agreed to write to the Auditor General for Scotland and the Scottish Government on issues raised during the meeting.

At its meeting on 25 November 2021, the Committee agreed to write to the Health, Social Care and Sport Committee and close its scrutiny of the blog.
