The Committee agreed to take items 3 and 4 in private.

2. Climate Change Committee – Annual Progress Report:

The Committee took evidence on the Climate Change Committee’s Annual Progress Report from—

Chris Stark, Chief Executive and Professor Keith Bell, Scottish Member, Climate Change Committee.

3. Climate Change Committee – Annual Progress Report (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2. Following evidence sessions on December 14 and on 21 December, the Committee also agreed to consider draft letters to the Scottish Government and the UK Government at a future meeting highlighting issues raised in relation to Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS).
