The Committee heard evidence on the outcomes of the Conference of the Parties in Glasgow and its implications for Scotland’s climate change policies from—
Professor Dave Reay, Executive Director, Edinburgh Climate Change Institute;
Mike Robinson, Chief Executive, Royal Scottish Geographical Society;
and then from—
Mary Church, Head of campaigns, Friends of the Earth Scotland;
Jess Pepper, founding director of the Climate Café ;
Teresa Anderson, Climate Policy Coordinator , ActionAid International.
The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2 and agreed to request a chamber debate on the outcomes of the UN Conference of the Parties (COP26).
