The Committee took evidence from—
Joe FitzPatrick, Minister for Local Government Empowerment and Planning, Hannah Keates,Unit Head, Local Government Policy and Relationships Unit and Ian Storrie,Head of Local Government Finance, Scottish Government;
Cllr Katie Hagmann, Resources Spokesperson and Simon Cameron,Chief Officer, Workforce and Corporate Policy, COSLA.
Marie McNair declared an interest as a previous Councillor with West Dunbartonshire Council.

The Committee considered the following negative instrument— Valuation (Proposals Procedure) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2023
The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instrument.
