The Committee agreed to take items 3 and 4 in private.

2. Patient Safety Commissioner for Scotland Bill:

The Committee took evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—

Charlie Bethune, Valproate Scotland;

Marie Lyon, Chair, Association for Children Damaged by Hormone Pregnancy Tests;

Fraser Morton, Individual;

Irene Oldfather, Director of Strategy and Engagement, Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE);

Bill Wright, Chair, Haemophilia Scotland;

Rosemary Agnew, Ombudsman, Scottish Public Services Ombudsman;

Alison Cave, Chief Safety Officer, Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency;
