1. Choice of Deputy Convener:

The Committee chose Paul Sweeney as its Deputy Convener.

The Committee took evidence from—

Jeff Ace, Chief Executive, NHS Dumfries and Galloway;

Professor Grant Archibald, Chief Executive, NHS Tayside;

Professor Jann Gardner, Chief Executive, NHS Lanarkshire.

Sandesh Gulhane declared an interest as having worked as a GP in the Dumfries and Galloway and Lanarkshire NHS Board areas.

Emma Harper declared an interest as having been an employee of NHS Dumfries and Galloway and a COVID-19 vaccination nurse.
