The Committee took evidence from—

John Burns, Chief Operating Officer, NHS Scotland;

Jeff Ace, Chief Executive, NHS Dumfries and Galloway;

Dr Jennifer Armstrong, Medical Director, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde;

Dr Adam Coldwells, Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Strategy, NHS Grampian.

The Committee considered the following negative instruments— The Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 2022 and The Food Information (Transitional Provisions) (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Scotland) Regulations 2022 

The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instruments.

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 3.

6. Inquiry into female participation in sport and physical activity:

The Committee agreed its approach to the inquiry.
