1. Decision on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take items 3, 4, 5 and 6 in private.
2. Transvaginal Mesh Removal (Cost Reimbursement) (Scotland) Bill:
The Committee took evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—
Greig Chalmers, Head of Chief Medical Officer’s Policy Division, David Bishop, Mesh Team Leader, Ailsa Garland, Solicitor, Kate Walker, Solicitor and Terry O'Kelly, Senior Medical Advisor, Scottish Government.
3. Evidence Session
The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2.
4. Budget Scrutiny:
The Committee agreed its letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care as part of its pre-budget scrutiny of the Scottish Government's Budget for 2022-23.
5. Health and Care Bill (UK Parliament legislation):
The Committee agreed its report on the Health and Care Bill (UK Parliament legislation), in relation to which a Legislative Consent Memorandum has been lodged by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, Humza Yousaf.
6. Work programme:
The Committee considered its work programme.
