SI notifications for consent
At its meeting on 18 January 2022, the Committee considered the following UK SI notification:
The Committee is content for the Scottish Government to give consent to UK Ministers to make regulations in this devolved policy area.
In addition, the Committee notes the Scottish Government is considering the implications for Scotland of changes to English law to be made by this SI, and is working to establish a policy position on how the changes may affect devolved health services and what further action may be necessary.
We would be grateful if you can provide an update on the outcome of this work in due course, particularly on the potential impact on the dental workforce in Scotland and how that will be addressed.
