1. Scottish Education Exchange Programme and Further and Higher Education issues:
The Committee took evidence from—
Graeme Dey, Minister for Higher and Further Education; and Minister for Veterans, Susan Pryde, Team Lead HE International, Shazia Razzaq, Strategic Lead, University Policy, Governance and Equalities and Jess Dolan, Head of Colleges and Economic Impact, Scottish Government.

The Committee considered and made no comments on the following negative instrument—

3. Evidence Session (In Private):
The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 1.
4. Work programme (In Private):
The Committee considered its work programme.
The Committee agreed a letter to the Minister for Children and Young People and Keeping the Promise regarding Financial Memorandums.
The Committee considered a letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills regarding the Committee’s recent roundtable on violence in schools. The Committee agreed to delegate responsibility to the Convener for final approval of the letter.
