1. Declaration of interests:

Ivan McKee MSP declared no relevant interests.

2. University and Colleges Funding - 2023/2024 Budget:

The Committee heard evidence from—

Graeme Dey, Minister for Higher and Further Education; and Minister for Veterans and Kamran Durrani, Head of Funding and Sponsorship Unit, Scottish Government .

3. Evidence Session (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2 and agreed to write to the Minister for Higher and Further Education; and Minister for Veterans.

4. Disabled Children and Young People (Transitions to Adulthood) (Scotland) Bill (In Private):

The Committee agreed draft correspondence relating to the Disabled Children and Young People (Transitions to Adulthood) (Scotland) Bill.  

Martin Whitfield MSP declared an interest as a former teacher employed by East Lothian Council. 

The Committee agreed to delegate responsibility to the Convener for final sign-off on the letter.
