1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 5, 6 and 8 in private.

2. Bankruptcy and Diligence (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee took evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—

Andrew Fraser, President and Roderick Macpherson,Honorary Secretary, Society of Messengers-at-arms and Sheriff Officers ;

Cheryl Hynd, Council Revenues Manager and Elizabeth McCrossan,Senior Transactions Officer, City of Edinburgh Council .

3. Report by James Withers on Independent Review of the Skills Delivery Landscape:

The Committee took evidence from James Withers.

4. Bankruptcy and Diligence (Scotland) Bill (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier under agenda item 2 and agreed to invite money advice organisations to give evidence on the Bill and to reschedule the evidence session with the Minister for Community Wealth and Public Finance.

5. Report by James Withers on Independent Review of the Skills Delivery Landscape (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier under agenda item 3.

6. Correspondence (In Private):

The Committee considered a letter from the Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Fair Work and Energy and agreed to invite the Chief Executive of Glasgow Prestwick Airport and the Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Fair Work and Energy to give evidence at a future meeting.

7. Just Transition for the North East and Moray (In Private):

The Committee continued consideration of its approach to the inquiry and agreed to invite additional witnesses.

8. Correspondence (In Private):

The Committee agreed to defer consideration of a letter from the Convener of Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee to the next week meeting.
