1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to consider the main themes arising from its current inquiry, and correspondence from the Convener of the Public Audit Committee, in private at its next meeting.

2. Just Transition for the Grangemouth area:

The Committee took evidence from—

Màiri McAllan, Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Just Transition;

Catriona Laing, Deputy Director for Climate Change Division;

     Chris Bryceland, Energy Infrastructure Team Leader;

     Andy McCall, Industrial Just Transition Planning Team Leader and

     Liam Middleton, Head of Critical Energy Infrastructure & Commercial Projects, Scottish Government.

3. Just Transition for the Grangemouth area (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier in the meeting and agreed to write to INEOS.
