The Committee agreed to take item 8 in private.


2. Inquiry into use of the made affirmative procedure during the coronavirus pandemic:

The Committee took evidence from—

Dr Ruth Fox, Director, Hansard Society;

Morag Ross QC, Faculty of Advocates.


3. European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018:

The Committee agreed that the following instrument had been laid under the appropriate procedure—

Animal Products (Transitional Import Conditions) (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2021 (SSI 2021/432)



5. Instruments subject to affirmative procedure:

The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—

Town and Country Planning (Short-term Let Control Areas) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2022 (SSI 2021/Draft)
Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 (Licensing of Short-term Lets) Order 2022 (SSI 2021/Draft)

The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—
