Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee

Report on the use of the made affirmative procedure

Letter from the Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Covid Recovery to the Convener, 7 March 2022

Dear Convener,

Following your letter of 9 February 2022, my interim response and the subsequent plenary debate, I set out in the main the Scottish Government’s general response to the points raised in the Committee’s report on the use of the made-affirmative procedure.

I will be happy to consider relevant recommendations in more detail as the Committee takes forward its scrutiny of the Coronavirus (Recovery and Reform) Scotland Bill.

Yours sincerely,

John Swinney
