The Committee took evidence from—

Michelle Macleod, Commissioner, Phillip Chapman, Director of Operations and Sharon Smit, Accountable Officer, Police Investigations & Review Commissioner.

3. Police Investigations and Review Commissioner (PIRC) Annual Report 2023/24 (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2.

4. Criminal Justice Modernisation and Abusive Domestic Behaviour Reviews (Scotland) Bill (In Private):

The Committee further considered its approach to the scrutiny of the Bill at Stage 1. The Committee agreed a further programme of witnesses to invite to give oral evidence.
