Budget Scrutiny 2025-26: Funding for Culture

The Committee agreed to take a cumulative approach to budget scrutiny over Session 6, focusing on the culture spending portfolio.

The Committee will hear from individuals, groups and businesses operating within the culture sector. These views will help the Committee to make recommendations to the Scottish Government ahead of its Budget for 2025-26.

This inquiry followed on from the Committee’s previous work in relation to pre-budget scrutiny:

The Committee ran a call for views in order to hear from individuals, groups and businesses operating within the culture sector ahead of the Budget for 2025-26.
